So I’m at Freedom Fest right now, but I also happened to be on John Stossel recently and also HBO so that’s pretty neat. Check out the info & links below.
Freedom Fest
Today is day two of Freedom Fest! I was really busy and only got here at around 11pm last night, but I wanted to make a post about what I’ve been up to —-
I am on several panels & events this week, here’s my schedule:
Thursday July 14th:
1:10pm
To Brothel or Not to Brothel? Why the Freedom of Sex Workers Impacts Us All
I’ll be moderating that panel with Elizabeth Nolan Brown, Ariela Moscowitz, Savannah Sly and it’s sponsored by Decriminalize Sex Work.
4:30pm
Mock Trail: Drug Legalization on Trial
I’ll be a “witness” testifying to the benefits of drug legalization.
I’ll also be at the LP VIP Lifetime Member event that evening.
Friday, July 15th I’ll be around for interviews and taking photos, but I have no commitments until I’m hosting karaoke at 10pm.
Saturday, July 16th:
11am
Free Speech IS a Feminist Issue
I’ll be talking with Saran Higdon, Olivia Rondeau, Salome Sibonex & Terry Kibbe.
2:10pm
Beyond Roe v. Wade: What Comes Next?
I’ll be speaking with Izabela Patriota, Kaytlin Baileym & Bekah Congdon.
3:10pm
Taboo Industries: Liberties Limits in Gray Markets
I’ll be speaking with Kaytlin Bailey, Brian Robertson and Max More.
4:10pm
Startup Showcase: Subversive Innovators Give Their Pitches
So I was on this panel, but Judd may show up Saturday so we wanted to give him the spot, but we’ll be talking about our work with Advanced Mycology! We’ll both be here for this, though he may be the one giving the pitch. If he can’t make it due to work constraints, I’ll be there!
Also re: abortion…
I haven’t watched this yet, but I was on John Stossel’s show talking about abortion rights. I hate watching myself on video which is why I haven’t watched it yet. Here’s John’s article about it in Reason, which I have read.
Also… re: Anarchism
As many of my friends and readers know, I have attended Anarchapulco since 2016 (I stopped attending after 2020 due to other commitments). I’ve taken a lot of photos, spoken on the main stage, and had a blast with that wacky bunch of weirdos in Acapulco, MX.
HBO Max is releasing a series called The Anarchists which features my photography and apparently me (I don’t remember if I did interviews or if it’s clips of my speeches). Either way, I haven’t watched it yet because I’m waiting for the whole series to come out, but here’s a trailer. I know the creators, and obviously everybody interviewed/involved.
It’s been a wild ride, but a lot of exciting things are happening and I can’t wait to share them all with you!
